  The pools are small cold and have sharp edges where tiles are missing. The sun beds are no more than 12 inches off the water edge which means you take your life in your hands as you try and walk around the pool.

  We stayed here for a week in a studio apartment July 2017. Apartment was nice as it had just been refurbished. The air-conditioning however didn't work very well, complained several times to reception but nothing happened. Food was basic but there was always something you could eat. The hotel is still being refurbished but the work never really affected us. Nice pool area and good sunbeds. Its about a 20 minute walk to the beach. We booked it last minute and got a good deal but would recommend this hotel if we had to pay full price. Got free tickets to Siam water park.....during the day only.

  The food is another story, the breakfast is just plain and mainly fry up the lunch is just snack food but it's the same everyday and when I say that I mean the soup.has been there since we arrived 5 days ago. The food in the evening wouldn't even pass for dog food it is vile and uneatable. We have eaten out every day and night as I like to eat fresh and not fried foods.

  Just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel. I have to say what a fantastic stay me and my husband had fantastic room still can't get over how big the rooms are. very clean and if you wanted you could have it cleaned every day. As for the staff very lovely people helpful with everything. they couldn't do enough for you there was one waiter which was very helpful and friendly Oscar was is name but all the waiters and waitress were extremely good. And as for the entertainment staff Kevin and vernessa they were fantastic people really really friendly and good fun to be around well done on the management on employing them. Pool area OK my husband did enjoy going in the pool but I found it a little cold. The food was good plenty of it and a good range of stuff only thing I would of liked it to be a little hotter but it was very tasty. Plenty to drink and a good range of drinks..... Going to book our next holiday to this hotel in the next few weeks can't wait to go back there.. Once again thank you to the management and all the staff at the compostela Hotel for a fantastic holiday xxx

  Very comfortable apartment / room great views to Tiede. Food ok could be better but plenty of it. Pool good. Not very deep so good for kids but deep enough to swim comfortably

  We had an incident in reception where my wife asked the assistant manager a question and he didn't like the answer so he started shouting and slapping his hands together in her face, we asked the manager to look at it on the CCTV and replied by saying he was too busy organising new years eve party.

  An all round great family hotel. Very clean too. Food catered for everybody and tasty. Rooms newly refurbished and beds were comfortable. Siam park just a 5 min taxi ride away which cost 6 Euros. Amazing shopping arcade with a bar and park opposite. We stayed 24th October to 31st weather was lovely.

  Our TUI rep Adam was as much use as a chocolate fire guard and his response to everything was he doesn't see any problems and he stayed in places like this when growing up and enjoyed it.

  Well what can I say. We were sold this by First Choice and yes we were miss sold. This is no hotel it is worse than a youth hostel. Firstly they put us in a room above the children's play area which meant there was constant noise, we also had blood splatters over the curtains and pillows along with ants everywhere.
