Interesting tour giving details of Aloe and Banana production at a small family run estate. If also goes into some if difficulties of agriculture in an area with low rainfall. There are also other specimen plants and animals, some of which are used on the plantation.

The tour ends in THE SHOP where a short movie on how aloe vera juice is extracted is played. There's also a range of Aloe Vera products they try to sell you. The final notable thing is that we received an Aloe Vera plant at the end of the tour (as advertised on the website).

All in all, it was a somewhat interesting experience and we were ready to pay for it. However it is quite overpriced. 12 Euros for entering someone's backyard, garden, old stuff collection and store is a bit much.

This thing they call A MUSEUM is actually a collection of old things they no longer need around the farm. Displayed in one line with a sidewalk on both sides we could see old cash registers, some old furniture, old farming tools and an old bathtub?!. - this is most definitely NOT A MUSEUM

This is not worth a €12 fee - whilst it is interesting there are basically sections where you are standing in a commercial nursery having paid for the privilege. It's like paying to visit a garden centre. The 'museum' section was quite entertaining. Overall interesting and probably worth visiting if you can get a ticket for half the price. Plants are pretty stunning but get rid of the museum!

We started with the ALOE VERA PLANTATION and a few details about its cultivation. They also showed us some Papaya trees.

Price is too high for what you see, maybe they could at least offer you a drink while waiting

Deffinately a must when visiting Tenerife! I went here on one of the first days of my holiday. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We payed to go in and got a free drink! Although as a child mine wasn't alcoholic! We had a tour through the aloe plantations and banana plantations where we learned about they grow. There was also a dog and various chickens there. After that we had a tour of some exotic plants with great photo opportunities! Overall we spent around an hour and a half there. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

We moved on to a MINIATURE MODEL representation of the Canary Islands and then a slightly bigger Tenerife Island model where we were explained how water is collected here (even though the information was interesting, I've seen school projects looking better than this model island). I don't think anyone is actively taking care of how the models look.

There is also a shop, of course selling Aloe and other local products.

We then entered the BANANA PLANTATION where the guide explained how bananas grow and more info about harvesting them. We were allowed 10 minutes of taking photos and were instructed to go to the museum.

The next stop is at the BAR where you can buy natural juices and smoothies. Displayed on a wall you can also read a bit about Canary Islands' history and demographics.

This family farm we visited also had some ANIMALS (rabbits, chicken, goats, a donkey, a dog) which we got to see.
